DCDAL currently is seeking a FT James H. Groves High School/Transition Program Coordinator to start immediately. Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university and must have experience in overseeing educational programs and services. This position is responsible for all aspects of the agency’s James H. Groves high school diploma program and transition program that include, but are not limited to: recruitment/enrollment, orientation, academic counseling/case management, collecting/reporting data and recordkeeping, graduation planning and coordination, CEA3 process management, and the provision of post-secondary transition services to students across all programs. The positions also requires the creation, maintenance, and implementation of courses, programs, and content within DCDAL’s learning management system under the supervision of the Executive Director. In addition, this position is required to supervise instructional and office staff. Candidates for this position must be highly computer literate and must have experience in distance learning and learning management software. Additionally, candidates must be proficient in multi-tasking, authoritative, flexible, and able to create a culture of accountability with students and staff. Adult education experience preferred. Benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, partial work from home schedule, AFLAC, and 401k. DCDAL does not offer medical insurance as as benefit. DCDAL is currently seeking a PT English Composition/CEA3 Online Instructors for immediate hire. Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university and a valid Delaware teaching credential in the subject area of English Language Arts as outlined in the Delaware Department of Education’s Delaware Community Adult Education Program regulations. Additionally, candidates for this position must be highly computer literate, detail & process oriented. Adult education and distance learning experience preferred.
